Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Producer to join our team at TVZ. As an Assistant Producer, you will play a key role in the production of our morning and daytime output on Sky Sports News.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Deputy Producer/Producer in producing high-quality output that meets the editorial standards of TVZ.
- Produce output from the Automated Gallery and build rundowns independently, ensuring that all content is engaging and informative.
- Take responsibility for the production and development of major/key stories, working closely with the production and graphic teams to deliver innovative and imaginative content.
- Help to oversee the production of content, ensuring that it meets the editorial standards laid out in the TVZ style guide.
- Suggest ideas and story treatments, encouraging contributions from the production and graphic teams.
- Responsible for creating and producing Sky News Sports Bulletins, working closely with Presenters and Directors to deliver high-quality content.
- Produce graphics using the LUCI system, ensuring that all visual elements are of the highest quality.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the production teams, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of TV production and editorial standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of the LUCI system and ability to produce high-quality graphics.
