Project Overview
This is a significant infrastructure project that will contribute to enhancing the UK's strategic defense capabilities.
Your Role as Security Project Manager
As the Security Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure delivery of this project and providing regular assurance to client security leads. You will work closely with the Programme Security Lead/Operations Director to manage and implement security measures across all projects within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate security processes throughout the project lifecycle, encompassing site operations and any associated locations.
- Maintain and refine security management plans for the project.
- Keep a meticulous record of security incidents and conduct thorough investigations when necessary.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within the project team to foster a positive security environment.
- Conduct regular security audits and prepare comprehensive assurance reports.
- Engage with external stakeholders and consultants, providing expert security advice and nurturing relationships with client security functions.
- Guide and support the project team to ensure compliance with contractual security obligations.
- Oversee personnel mobilization and demobilization processes.
- Contribute to incident and emergency preparedness plans for project sites.
About You
You possess relevant degree qualifications or BTEC/HNC certifications, coupled with a strong understanding of current security policies and procedures across various government departments. Your proven track record in managing client relationships is essential. You are digitally adept, capable of building lasting client connections, and leading high-performing teams. A background in security, construction, or project management, combined with your ambition to grow your career within Mace, makes you an ideal candidate.
