High Power Radio Frequency Engineer

The Challenge:
We're seeking a highly skilled High Power Radio Frequency (HPRF) engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in advancing the state-of-the-art for non-lethal systems used within the Fleet.
Your Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory and field testing, including establishing test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, testing, and analyzing high-powered, pulsed power-driven microwave systems.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, fabricating, and testing electronic printed circuit boards.
- Experience with HPM and HPRF source testing and evaluation.
- Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, EMI mitigation techniques, transformer design, DC-to-DC converters, and high-voltage capacitors.
- Experience in RF and microwave signal generation and test equipment, vacuum devices, tubes, radars, HPRF systems, and digital signal processing.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have:
- 10+ years of experience with high voltage, high peak power spark-gaps, high voltage power supplies, fast transient diagnostics, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic countermeasures (EMC) mitigation techniques.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering related to program development, modeling, or simulation.
- Master's degree.
