High Power Radio Frequency Engineer, Mid

We're seeking a highly skilled High Power Radio Frequency (HPRF) engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and develop next-generation systems that will add alternative options to warfighters' means to dress in real-world missions.
With a background in RF, High Voltage, and DE technologies, you will lead engineering initiatives that will advance the state-of-the-art for non-lethal systems. You will also share your engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-powered, pulsed power-driven microwave systems
- Develop and implement test methodologies for laboratory and field testing
- Lead engineering initiatives to advance the state-of-the-art for non-lethal systems
- Mentor junior staff and share engineering expertise
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory and field testing
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-powered, pulsed power-driven microwave systems
- Experience with HPM and HPRF source testing and evaluation
- Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, EMI mitigation techniques, transformer design, DC-to-DC converters, and high-voltage capacitors
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with high voltage, high peak power spark-gaps, high voltage power supplies, fast transient diagnostics, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic countermeasures (EMC) mitigation techniques
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering related to program development, modeling, or simulation
- Master's degree
