Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Ayrshire, Scotland. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise and passion for primary care pharmacy to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare of our community.

About the Role

This 22.2-hour per week position involves providing clinical audit and patient-facing medication reviews, as well as offering expert advice on prescribing and medicines use to GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will work collaboratively to develop and implement processes to ensure successful implementation of NHS Ayrshire & Arran's prescribing strategies and policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, be a Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain with evidence of continuing professional development, and hold vocational training experience at Level 2 or higher. Relevant pharmacy experience, particularly in primary care, is also essential.
