Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of financial regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and advance planning for future changes.
  • Embed financial best practices within the organisation, adapting and applying principles appropriately.
  • Implement mechanisms for compliance with financial policies, guidelines, and procedures, including communication and monitoring systems.
  • Enhance reporting and budgetary control, monitoring financial position against budget and acting on anomalies.
  • Contribute to strategic plans, including costing new initiatives, financial modelling, and risk-based analysis.
  • Liaise with external funders to ensure financial controls are met and reported consistently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management and administration.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
