Job Description

The Director of Business Development is a dynamic role responsible for driving new business growth in PC's markets across the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire. As a strategic leader, this individual will work closely with construction leaders to identify opportunities and build relationships with strategic prospects in support of PC's Strategic Plan and Business Plan.

This role requires a keen understanding of each customer's unique needs, developing key project partnerships, and leading pre-proposal efforts. The successful candidate will establish and maintain owner relationships, develop technical and business knowledge, and present a compelling value proposition to prospects and customers.

  1. Demand Generation and Opportunity Development
    Develop leads and position PC for each project pursuit, leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  2. Regional Leadership and Collaboration
    Ensure the regional leadership team is involved in key opportunities and stays informed about significant developments.
  3. Relationship Management and Value Proposition
    Establish and maintain all owner relationships, develop technical and business knowledge, and present a compelling value proposition to prospects and customers.
  4. Market Insights and Strategic Positioning
    Establish and expand relationships within all markets to stay current on trends and maximize early communication of project opportunities.
  5. Project Pipeline and Sales Performance
    Maintain contacts and project pipeline in the project management system and support the development of the annual Business Plan in association with the company's strategic goals.
  6. Brand Ambassadorship and Marketing Support
    Be a PC brand ambassador and support all marketing, public relations, and social media efforts to further PC's presence in the industry.
