Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact young lives, providing care and support to children and young people with diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, including assistance with daily needs and activities.
  • Offer respite services to caregivers through planned recreational and educational activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people by adhering to safeguarding policies and conducting regular safety checks.
  • Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with families and agencies.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • DBS on the update service for children and adults.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential or respite care setting.
  • Understanding of child development and the needs of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Location
