Location: Thornton Cleveleys

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £23,400 per annum, dependent on experience

About the Company: Our client is a reputable family-owned business specializing in Legionella control, water hygiene, and general water hygiene compliance.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out temperature monitoring, water testing for Legionella and other bacteria, cleaning and chlorination of town mains and water tanks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out temperature monitoring to ensure water safety
  • Conduct water testing for Legionella and other bacteria to identify potential risks
  • Clean and chlorinate town mains and water tanks to maintain water quality
  • Work in schools and care homes, requiring a DBS check

Requirements:

  • 12 months' experience in a related field (full training will be provided)
  • Plumbing experience is an advantage
  • Some plumbing knowledge would be helpful
  • Full driving license
