Job Summary

LLR Patient Care Locally Community Interest Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager for Planned Care Transformation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving system-wide work to transform integrated care across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR).

Main Responsibilities

The Project Manager will provide advanced project support for the transformation of Planned Care across the ICB. Key responsibilities include:
  • Project managing the transformation of end-to-end pathways
  • Working with providers to deliver savings and take out cost in provider organisations
  • Supporting relevant workforce development
  • Supporting the drive to improve efficiencies
  • Driving out health inequalities in what ever projects are carried out

About Us

LLR Patient Care Locally Community Interest Company commissions and provides health and care services for over a million people in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR) and have a combined budget of c. £ billion. The combined total of Primary Care Networks is 26. The ICB is accountable for all strategic commissioning and contract management arrangements for the provider contracts. The ICB works collaboratively with the local authorities in addition to the borough/district councils in Leicestershire.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience of collaborating with stakeholders across organisations to support transformation across LLR. The role will encompass alignment of strategic and current operational activities, coordinating the transformation of care and ensuring effective clinical engagement to achieve system change. Key skills and abilities include:
  • Clear communicator with excellent written and presentation skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, maintain discretion and use initiative
  • Advanced IT skills including use of Microsoft Office
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced and pressurised environment

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area. Further training or significant experience to post-graduate diploma level is also required. Evidence of continued professional development is essential.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of providing business support to Senior leaders and managing relationships between senior professionals. Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures, monitoring budgets and business planning processes, managing a team, and coordinating activities in complex and challenging environments is also required. Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment is essential.
