About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Steer Electric in Eastleigh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately assessing damaged vehicles and creating repair estimates using Audatex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and create detailed repair estimates.
  • Identify the most effective repair methods, timescales, and costs to develop comprehensive repair plans.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely authorizations and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with both customers and insurance partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, estimates, and repair progress.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor with a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques and proficiency in using Audatex. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
