About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Joint Director for Delivery and Partnerships, covering the Mid and South Essex geography. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Integrated Care System and drive transformation in community care and mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve health and social care services in Mid and South Essex.
  • Collaborate with senior clinicians and other key professionals to drive partnership working and achieve system-wide goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, NHS trusts, and voluntary sector organisations.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our teams, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with our colleagues to identify and address system-wide challenges, such as workforce development and service redesign.
Requirements
  • Relevant clinical or social worker professional qualification at degree level, or equivalent operational and strategic knowledge.
  • A minimum of three years' senior operational management experience of community health, mental health, and/or social services.
  • Measurable success in managing equalities initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and social care policy and Mental Health Legislation.
