**About The Maypole Project**

The Maypole Project is a UK-based organization dedicated to supporting children and young people with complex medical needs and their families. Our vision is that every family has access to our support from diagnosis, for as long as they need.

We provide unique emotional and wellbeing support through counselling and therapy services for parents, carers, siblings, and other adults involved in caring for a young person with complex medical needs.

As an experienced professional, you will join our senior leadership team to lead the development and expansion of our clinical and therapeutic services. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality support, meeting the needs of more families across the UK.

**Job Responsibilities**
  • Line Manage the Senior Counsellor, Senior Child Therapist, Activities Manager, and Clinical Supervisors.
  • Foster positive communications through regular team meetings and socials, promoting a collaborative working culture.
  • Ensure all staff receive appropriate training and access to professional development opportunities.
  • Oversight of enquiries and referrals, from initial contact to end of support.
  • Facilitate Clinical Supervision for the therapies team.
  • Contract management: act as the main point of contact for contractors providing therapy services.
  • Data management: client database recording of appointments, payments, and impact reporting.
  • Premises management: ensuring fitness for purpose, health and safety regulations, accessibility, and confidentiality policies.
**Business Development**
  • Contribute to strategic and operational plans for growth, including service uptake and expansion.
  • Developing service provision, quality, and resourcing.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: disseminating the impact of our services to stakeholders.
  • Support the CEO and Head of Development in developing external relationships and partnerships.
  • Act as an Ambassador for The Maypole Project, advocating and promoting our work.
