Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

Salary Range: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + attractive benefits package
Region: London

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is working on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor who requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a significant station upgrade project in North London. This experienced professional will be part of the project's commercial team, led by the Commercial Manager.

Key Tasks:

  1. Ensure that the contractors' commercial position is safeguarded through comprehensive understanding of contractual, commercial, insurance, and legal processes.
  2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to facilitate smooth commercial contract progress.
  3. Support and develop junior commercial team members.
  4. Monitor and analyze the implications of commercial and technical changes at an industry/sector level.
  5. Anticipate and organize adjustments to commercial resources on the project.
  6. Offer commercial assistance during the tendering process as necessary.
  7. Establish the foundation for the project's procurement schedule and ensure team participation and completion of relevant sections.
  8. Supervise subcontract procurement in compliance with the procurement timetable and the contractor's procurement policy.
  9. Purchase materials and off-site services efficiently, cooperating with suitable organizations according to the contractor's procurement policy and procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in quantity surveying roles.
  • Desirable experience in major infrastructure projects.
