**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team in Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our clients' accounts receivable ledger and ensuring that all debts are collected in a timely manner.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Monitoring accounts receivable ledger to identify potential financial risks
  • Developing effective relationships with clients to manage payment difficulties
  • Ensuring strict internal controls and aged debtor protocols are applied at all times
  • Maintaining invoicing systems for accuracy
  • Completing invoice reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Providing regular debtor reports with full commentary and action plan
  • Recovering outstanding debts via written and verbal techniques
  • Working closely with partners and colleagues to resolve matters relating to aged debt

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Credit Controller and up-to-date knowledge of debtor management procedures. A good understanding of accounts receivable and debt control techniques is essential.
