Credit Controller for Southern Europe

LSEG, a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, seeks a Credit Controller for Southern Europe.

This challenging role is based in Exeter, UK, and offers a fast-growing environment driven by continuous developments and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate established collection procedures to achieve targeted expectations/results while promoting customer goodwill.
  2. Make contact with customers regarding unpaid items, following global LSEG collection guidelines.
  3. Anticipate developments and identify accounts requiring special attention, resolving difficulties and disputes with management support.
  4. Develop harmonious and effective working relationships with customers, departmental colleagues, and Segment Sales team in EMEA and Bangalore.
  5. Assess the creditworthiness of newly proposed and existing customers, using information sources and liaising with colleagues and management.
  6. Promote credit control department involvement in segment sales and marketing activities.
  7. Support the design and production of SOX reports and revenue provision reports for management.
  8. Drive continuous improvements in DSO, resolving incomplete cash/unapplied receipts, and reducing aged debts.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Spanish verbal and written skills.
  2. Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  3. Excellent customer services experience.
