Credit Controller for Southern Europe

LSEG, a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, seeks a Credit Controller for Southern Europe.
This challenging role is based in Exeter, UK, and offers a fast-growing environment driven by continuous developments and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate established collection procedures to achieve targeted expectations/results while promoting customer goodwill.
- Make contact with customers regarding unpaid items, following global LSEG collection guidelines.
- Anticipate developments and identify accounts requiring special attention, resolving difficulties and disputes with management support.
- Develop harmonious and effective working relationships with customers, departmental colleagues, and Segment Sales team in EMEA and Bangalore.
- Assess the creditworthiness of newly proposed and existing customers, using information sources and liaising with colleagues and management.
- Promote credit control department involvement in segment sales and marketing activities.
- Support the design and production of SOX reports and revenue provision reports for management.
- Drive continuous improvements in DSO, resolving incomplete cash/unapplied receipts, and reducing aged debts.
Requirements:
- Excellent Spanish verbal and written skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills.
- Excellent customer services experience.
