Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join the ASCR Recruitment, Retention, Education and Wellbeing Team (RREWT). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct supervision, training, and preceptorship support for all healthcare practitioners.
Main Duties of the Job
- Support newly qualified registered practitioners and new staff during their preceptorship/rotation programme
- Support and develop the preceptors using a facilitation/coaching approach
- Provide direct supervision and training for qualified registered practitioners and new staff
- Support development of the learning environment and competency frameworks benchmarked against national standards of care
- Support the clinical teams to develop skills matrices and record staff development using their matrix
- Support the development of clinical practice guidelines & policies
- Assist the workforce in achieving quality standards
- Develop and implement new initiatives and ways of working
- Contribute to the delivery, management, and review of all existing accredited and internal education programmes
