Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our technical sales team. This role is ideal for someone looking to get into scientific sales, as no prior experience is necessary beyond the required background.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with chemists, procurement, and finance departments of research institutions and chemical using companies worldwide. Your primary goal will be to support customers in fulfilling their chemical requirements for R&D or Process Development projects.
This role requires a high level of customer service and technical support. You will build long-term business relationships with assigned customer accounts and present technical solutions to meet customer needs.
Your Background:
To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Chemistry or a related field. However, other scientific qualifications will be considered.
You must be a well-organised, self-motivated individual with good knowledge of administrative procedures. Fluency in English is essential, both spoken and written, as many customers are international.
Requirements:
You should be proficient in Microsoft Office software packages and have excellent communication skills. The ability to travel across the UK and mainland Europe is desirable for long-term career development.
