Job Description

As a Childcare Professional - Early Years at CC Nurseries, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and learning of children aged 0-5 years. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing activities that meet the needs and interests of children
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for further support
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education
  • Providing feedback to parents on their child's progress and involving them in planning and decision-making processes

You will also have opportunities to work with our experienced team of educators and leaders to develop your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are always up-to-date with best practice in early years education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare and education (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working with young children, preferably in a nursery setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
