Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Team Member to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our nursery premises.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery, including classrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces, are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disinfecting surfaces, toys, and furniture to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas, including kitchens and staff rooms.
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas.
  • Able to use the correct cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and appropriately.
  • To report any problems, faults, damage appropriately.

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual with previous experience in a cleaning role. You should have a good understanding of hygiene and safety standards, particularly in environments where children are present.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £23,328, based on a 37-hour working week and an hourly rate of £11.45.
