We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced childcare professional to join our team as a Third in Charge at Busy Bees Reading International Nursery.

As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our staff to deliver high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and education.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Work closely with the nursery management team to achieve business objectives and improve outcomes for children.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Support the development of staff through training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification and previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, children, and parents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ability to apply this in practice.
