Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Assistant to join our team at the Cowgate Under 5s Nursery School in Edinburgh.

This fixed-term position is for 22 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, with daily hours to be agreed.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Froebel practice and a willingness to adopt Froebelian principles. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to work effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.

In this role, you will provide support to the teaching team, assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of educational activities. You will also contribute to the overall well-being and development of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
