Job Title: Children Home Manager

At Thrive UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children Home Manager to lead our residential care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of children's admissions, transitions, and discharges.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals to promote professional development and growth.
  • Organize training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
  • Implement recommendations from Ofsted inspections and work closely with social workers, educational professionals, and healthcare providers to support children's needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to children facing crises or stressors and foster a sense of community within the home through activities promoting well-being.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 20 years due to Ofsted regulations.
  • Experience in a senior role within childcare settings.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualifications.
  • NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Children's Services or equivalent experience.
