Lead a New Residential Children's Home in Stoke-on-Trent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our new 3-bed residential home in Stoke-on-Trent, providing high-quality care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of carers and support staff to deliver exceptional care and support to young people aged 7-18.
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being and independence of our residents.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including staff supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

  • A competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonuses.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services) and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a residential children's home environment, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
