We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Consultant to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our commitment to clinical excellence.
About the RoleThis is a full-time post comprising 10 PAs, with supervision of junior doctors and specialist nurses. You will also be required to contribute to the Acute Medicine rota on a 1:17 basis and work flexibly to support General Internal Medicine. The appointee must hold the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, or equivalent, and have completed higher specialist training in Respiratory Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our Respiratory Medicine service.
- Supervise junior doctors and specialist nurses, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the Acute Medicine rota and work flexibly to support General Internal Medicine.
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, sharing your expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
