Join Our Regulatory Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Private Rented Sector Licensing Team. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for leading a team of compliance officers undertaking housing standards inspections under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and associated enforcement action for non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of compliance officers in undertaking housing standards inspections and enforcement action
  • Ensure compliance with the Housing Act and associated regulations
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize the use of resources and deliver value for money
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure a best-in-class service
  • Contribute to the development of efficient and effective lean systems

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the Housing Act and associated regulations
  • Experience of leading a team and developing effective strategies
  • Ability to work closely with other teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence using the English Language
