Strategic Land Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Development Manager to join our Strategic Land team based in Tamworth.
You will report to the Planning Manager and coordinate land opportunities for submission to landowners/agents, promoting residentially led strategic land acquisition at the earliest viable opportunity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing the Strategic Land Strategy by advising on regional requirements, planning policy amendments, and housing need and supply matters.
- Sourcing strategic land opportunities in line with the acquisition strategy, including undertaking land searches.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Prior experience in a similar role, with experience in securing Land Agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK Residential Property Market and Planning Frameworks / Legislation.
- RTPI or RICS Qualification.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and understanding of Health and Safety (including CDM relating to design).
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
