Outdoor Adventure Instructor

As an Outdoor Activity Leader Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in outdoor education, working with groups of all ages and abilities. You will learn how to design and deliver engaging and safe outdoor activities, using a range of specialist equipment.

You will also have the opportunity to gain external National Governing body (NGB) qualifications, and develop your leadership and teamwork skills. Our immersive outdoor experiences are loved by groups of all ages, and we welcome groups from around the world to our adventure centres.

As a member of our team, you will be part of a fun and sociable team, with a family feel. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, from our adventure centres to outdoor locations across the UK.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the outdoors, and has a desire to learn and develop their skills. You will need to have a good level of physical fitness, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a variety of high-adrenaline outdoor activities using a range of specialist equipment
• Learn how to design and run your own sessions
• Undertake various external National Governing body (NGB) qualifications
• Deliver entertainment sessions and provide fun and exhilarating experiences
• Ensure all equipment and safety checks are conducted in line with company procedures
• Ensure compliance with company H&S policy
• Understand and comply with the Company's Safeguarding Policy
• Support with centre projects

Qualifications and Requirements:

• English GCSE at level 3 or grade D
• Maths GCSE at level 3 or grade D
• OR
• NVQ or SVQ Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent English (Grade Level 1)
• NVQ or SVQ Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent Maths (Grade level 1)
