Job Overview
A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. This exciting role will involve working on various projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional facilities. Our company specializes in designing and analyzing structures constructed of different materials, such as structural steel, stainless steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, wood, and cold formed metal framing.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, and an attractive benefits package that includes performance bonuses, annual bonuses, review bonuses, and tuition reimbursement for additional courses towards your Master's Degree.

About the Role
This is a fantastic chance to work alongside skilled architects, designers, and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial projects. As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be involved in a range of work, from new builds to renovations, tenant fit-ups, and multi-level structures, all while collaborating within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Your key responsibilities will include performing critical structural analysis and design for various building types, actively contributing to the project lifecycle, and applying industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Code).

You will have opportunities to lead elements of project development while enhancing your technical skills. With autonomy to meet deadlines and manage tasks, you will be able to contribute significantly to our team's success.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 2-5 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in building design. You should also possess EIT Certification, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, CWC Woodwork, ENERCALC, Tekla, Tedds, RAM, and RISA 3D, and knowledge of industry standards.
