We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Care New England Health System. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect demographic data and verify insurance coverage
  • Enter and confirm demographic and insurance information
  • Determine and collect deductibles and co-pay, as appropriate
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls and refer to the appropriate staff member or service component
  • Assist with retrieving documents and preparing patients for access appointments
Requirements
  • High school diploma with a business background and two years' experience with third-party reimbursement
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • General computer experience and typing skills
