Job Title: Production Engineer - Equipment Design and Development

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at James Walker & Co Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing special purpose machinery and equipment for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop special purpose machinery and equipment for our manufacturing processes
  • Develop and introduce cutting-edge technologies into our manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support and production engineering solutions to our manufacturing team
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of our work and identify ways to improve our business

Requirements:

  • Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in an engineering position within a production environment
  • 3D CAD experience, ideally with Autodesk Inventor
  • Proven background in supporting the introduction of new products and special purpose machinery
