Job Title: Mentoring and Employment Officer

Service Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Mentoring and Employment Officer to join our team. As a key member of our NEET Team, you will provide comprehensive mentoring and employability support to young people aged 16-24 across the borough of Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high-quality, integrated mentoring and employability service to support young people who are not in education, employment, or training.
  • Identify and engage with young residents who are furthest from the labour market and experiencing multiple forms of disadvantage.
  • Provide a supportive and empathetic approach to help young people achieve their goals.
  • Produce regular performance updates and forecasts to inform future activity and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Awareness of and commitment to promoting equality of access and opportunity in a diverse community.
  • Extensive knowledge of the current and developing national context in careers information, advice, and guidance for young adults.
  • Experience in implementing systems to gather and accurately process data.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
