This position is part of the NEET Team, responsible for providing mentoring and employment support to young people aged 16-24 across Lewisham borough. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the current national context in careers information, advice, and guidance for young adults. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing a high-quality, integrated mentoring and employability service to support young people in Lewisham who are not in education, employment, or training

* Identifying and working with young residents who are furthest from the labour market and experiencing multiple forms of disadvantage

* Adopting a empathetic and caring approach to support young people in achieving their goals

* Preparing and submitting regular performance updates and forecasts of activity and outcomes

Requirements:

* Awareness of and commitment to Quality of Access and Opportunity in a diverse community

* Extensive knowledge of the current and developing national context in careers information, advice, and guidance for young adults

* Ability to implement systems for gathering and processing data

* Previous experience in a similar role
