Bar Manager Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations at The Woolpack Inn. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will be responsible for managing the bar team, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role offers a salary range of £23,195.00-£24,087.00 per year, along with a range of benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and guide the bar team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
  2. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, guaranteeing quality and consistency.
  3. Implement effective training programmes for staff on beverage preparation, service techniques, and hospitality best practices.
  4. Work closely with the kitchen team to develop innovative drink pairings that match our menu offerings.
  5. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to minimize waste.
  6. Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, responding promptly to concerns and feedback to enhance their experience.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to continuously improve the bar's offerings.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a bar management role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
  2. Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of supervising teams effectively.
  3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  4. A background in culinary arts or hospitality management would be advantageous.
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with staff and customers.
