About the Role
We are seeking to recruit Supervisors (band 7) to support the supervision of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) within the Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise EMHPs to ensure they are delivering high-quality evidence-based interventions.
- Lead by example in clinical practice and support junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge of low-intensity interventions.
- Deliver clinical interventions, including targeted and Whole School Approach interventions, to maintain professional registrations and continue to develop.
- Contribute to service development, progressing and adapting interventions to ensure inclusivity and contributing to research and development of the MHSTs nationally.
Requirements
- Relevant graduate qualification with a recognised professional body.
- A minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant academic subject (Psychology, Education, Childhood development, Social Work etc).
- 2 years post-Grad experience of working in CYP mental health settings and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in NHS or equivalent service.
- Experience in offering CBT therapeutic interventions within a CYP Mental Health Setting with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
