About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our award-winning Psychological Therapies Service. As a senior clinician, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of evidence-based therapies for individuals experiencing serious mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision of therapy within the Psychological Therapies Service, working closely with the Inclusion Thurrock Clinical Lead.
  • Develop and implement specific psychological therapies across the service, including leading or contributing to training, supervision, and governance aspects.
  • Ensure the systematic provision of high-quality specialist psychological therapy services to clients, supervising and supporting other psychological therapists and clinical team members.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate/Doctoral level qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology, recognized by the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Eligible for Chartership status with the British Psychological Society.
  • Several years of post-qualification experience in working with diverse client groups, across the lifespan, and presenting with varying clinical severity in various care settings.
  • Experience in applying therapy in different cultural contexts.
