Registered Nurse - Band 5

Longleat Ward - Warminster Community Hospital

Full & Part Time Opportunities available - permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Longleat Ward, Warminster Community Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for our patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients and their families.

Main Duties

Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans

Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support

Supervising and supporting nursing associates, junior staff, and students

Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

First-level registered nurse qualification

Current/live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Literate and able to prioritize and organize workload

Astute interpersonal skills and ability to deal with difficult/sensitive situations

Enhanced clinical competencies, including venepuncture and cannulation

Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and mental capacity legislation

Additional Criteria

Access to a vehicle for business purposes and a full and valid driving license
