Area Sales Professional

We are seeking a skilled Area Sales Professional to cover the Bristol and Wiltshire area for our client, a well-established Forklift dealer. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Sales Team and contribute to the company's growth.
About the RoleThis role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting and selling to prospects, and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in field sales and knowledge of material handling equipment or be from a strong capital equipment sales background.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Sell a world-leading brand (Mitsubishi) as well as complimentary products, rental solutions, and second-hand equipment
- Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Prior experience in field sales
- Knowledge of material handling equipment or strong capital equipment sales background
- Confident, clear communication skills
- Good understanding of the sales process, including CRM prospecting and direct marketing
- Able to work independently and take ownership of customer needs
- High levels of energy and motivation with a will to succeed
The successful candidate will receive a generous pension, company car or allowance, company laptop and mobile phone, and realistic OTEs of £50,000 +.
