About the Role

Connected Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our team. As an HR Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering a comprehensive HR service to our business, ensuring that our employees are motivated, productive, and assisted to complete their roles to the best of their ability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in delivering on key HR duties within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for leading and delivering organisational change, implementing HR strategies, and advising Line Managers on employee-related queries.

You will also be responsible for delivering HR-related training across the business, managing projects with a high degree of complexity, and leading in chairing HR disciplinaries, grievance, and performance management meetings with operational managers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR generalist with business partnering skills, excellent people skills, and the ability to build relationships on all levels. You will also have a strong understanding of NI Employment legislation and experience in leading investigations, disciplinaries, grievance, and performance management cases.

We are looking for someone who is strategic and analytical, with excellent communication skills, written and verbal. You will be able to work alone and as part of a wider team, including the Senior Leadership team, and be able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a seamless transactional HR service to the business
  • Lead and deliver organisational change
  • Implement HR strategies
  • Advise Line Managers on employee-related queries
  • Deliver HR-related training across the business
  • Manage projects with a high degree of complexity
  • Lead in chairing HR disciplinaries, grievance, and performance management meetings
  • Act as contact for employees on a wide range of queries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Create and design and update HR Policies in line with company changes and employment legislation
  • Develop and produce key data reports for the overall business
  • Assist the HR Senior management team in collating monthly KPI data and participate in feedback meetings for various initiatives

Requirements

  • CIPD Qualified
  • A full and clean driver's license
  • At least 3 years previous HR work experience in delivering on key HR duties within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional knowledge of NI Employment legislation
  • Experience in leading investigations, disciplinaries, grievance, and performance management cases
  • Experience in delivering change which aligns both HR and business goals
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships on all levels
  • Strategic and analytical thinker
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Package
  • Strong experience working with data and reports
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Desirable Criteria

  • CIPD Level 5 or above qualified or working towards
  • ROI Experience
  • Experience working in the Health & Social Care Industry
