Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with us as a locum, 3-Month contract Social Worker in the Fostering department.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in social work and be registered with Social Work England. They will have significant frontline experience in Children's Social Services within the UK, working as a qualified Social Worker.

Main Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of Cheshire West and Chester's children by delivering a high-quality service.
  • The majority of the work will be an allocated caseload of Foster Carer supervision and support.
  • Facilitating support groups and presenting skills to Foster training.
  • Ensure that all regulatory activity is of a high standard and within timescales.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant frontline experience in Children's Social Services within the UK.
  • At least three years post-qualifying experience and have skills in supervising and supporting fostering families.
