Job Title: Retail Door Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Door Supervisor to join our team at Flannels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and assets.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position, working 45 hours per week over 5 days, including a mix of days, nights, and weekend shifts. You will be required to work closely with the store management team to identify and mitigate risks, complete safety and security checks, and report any incidents or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a visible presence on the shop floor to deter potential security threats and minimize stock loss.
  • Work closely with the store team to create a culture of risk management and stock loss prevention.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks to the store management team, and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Complete regular safety and security checks, and report any incidents or concerns to the store management team.
  • Build effective working relationships with external agencies, such as the police and security services.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build great relationships with customers, staff, and external agencies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Observant and able to detect potential security threats.
  • Proven ability to confidently de-escalate challenging situations.
