We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music lessons to students, inspiring creativity and enhancing their understanding of music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and implement an engaging and inclusive music curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles, promoting creativity and musical understanding.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate students' progress in music education, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Organise and oversee music-related extracurricular activities, including concerts, competitions, and workshops.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field, Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), and a valid DBS check.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching music to students, with a track record of successful student outcomes, and experience in curriculum development and assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Music Education or related field.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and promoting inclusive learning environments.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. It may require some evening or weekend commitments for school events or performances.
