Technical Requirements

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing computer network infrastructure, administering domain services, maintaining network security, and providing technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage computer network infrastructure
  • Administer domain services and maintain network security
  • Provide technical support to staff, addressing both technical and operational issues
  • Stay up-to-date with new hardware, software, and technology trends
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to optimize working practices

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Experience with network management tools and systems
  • Expertise in IP addressing, VLANs, VPNs, and network security technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud-based networking and hybrid environments
  • Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
