The role of Risk Management Consultant/Senior Consultant is a key position within our global Risk team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with our EMEA and APAC Asset Management business to identify and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with and influence BAU/functional teams on risk considerations and developments.
- Provide advisory services on risk matters and work proactively with business contacts and management to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Perform independent loss event investigations and lessons learnt analysis.
- Review, disseminate, and interpret risk management policies, frameworks, and procedures.
- Independently analyze business change activities to ensure risks are identified and aligned with risk appetite.
- Provide independent challenge for technology-related risk items.
- Develop and produce non-financial risk-focused reporting.
- Participate in committees and present to senior management as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of financial services and risk management theory.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to quantitatively measure and assess risks.
- Compelling written and verbal communicator.
- Experience and technical competency in data reporting, analysis, and automation tools.
- A global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences.
- A College/University degree in an analytical subject or relevant professional qualification.
