We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Vehicle Performance Optimization Expert to join our Vehicle Performance Development Section at the Alpine F1 Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a key role in the full-vehicle performance development of our car. The successful candidate will be responsible for using existing simulation tools to provide insight into the impact of different sub-systems on the full-vehicle performance of the car.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, simulation, and data analysis. Previous experience in the field of PU optimisation/energy management in a motorsport context would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use simulator and trackside data analysis and reporting to support the development of new software tools.
  • Develop best practices concerning model correlation to ensure alignment between the section toolset and our suppliers.
  • Conduct design of experiment studies to identify the coupling across sub-system domains and main performance trade-offs.

The salary for this position is approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an excellent suite of benefits including BUPA medical and dental, private pension, bonus scheme, and many more.
