Job Title: Process Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Specialist to join our team at 2 Sisters Food Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the renovation process of existing projects, ensuring that all renovation work is approved by the appropriate channels, and leading production staff where necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

Renovation:

• Assist in the renovation process of existing projects, introducing upgrades in quality, cost of production, and presentation where appropriate.

• Ensure that all renovation work is approved by the appropriate channels.

• Assist in trials and lead production staff where necessary.

• Involvement in packaging trials as part of the development process.

• Support the factory with Giveaway, downgrades, and waste through process engineering and on-the-job support and training.

Customer Focus:

• Assist in the delivery of launches from product handover through to launch, meeting all deadlines both internally and externally, ensuring both internal and external gate processes are met.

• Assist and lead customer presentations where required.

• Assist and lead on external trials when required by the team.

• Work on projects between all UKP sites as and when required.

Innovation:

• Work with relevant machinery, packaging, and ingredient suppliers to ensure that 2 Sisters Food Group is always up to date with the latest innovation.

• Assist and lead with special projects.

• Address issues proactively and respond to routine issues with minimal direction.

• Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.

Personnel:

• Fit in with the ways of working the team has adopted and work and communicate as a team.

  • PC skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working with products from the food industry preferred.
  • Good knowledge of factory processes and products essential.
