Teaching Assistant with SEND Expertise

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at an SEND School in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting inclusion, supporting teaching staff, and managing classroom resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
- Support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum
- Use effective behaviour management strategies
- Organise and manage teaching space and resources
- Cover and lead class teaching as required
- Direct the work of other adults in supporting learning
- Contribute to effective assessment and planning
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with complex needs and learning difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain good order and discipline in the classroom
