SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who has SEN needs at a Primary School in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and providing personal care where required.
The role involves creating a supportive learning environment, ensuring the pupil remains engaged with lesson plans, and tailoring support methods to meet their individual needs. You will work closely with the teaching team to develop strategies to support the pupil's progress.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive ongoing training and support to help you excel in your role. We offer a competitive salary, around £28,000-£32,000 per annum, and a range of benefits including annual leave and opportunities for professional development.
