HR Assistant Role at Office Shoes

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our dynamic team at Office Shoes. As the first point of contact for all HR queries, you will provide exceptional support to our store employees, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR queries and provide timely responses to store employees
  • Process reference requests and issue contracts for hourly paid employees
  • Assist with payroll-related queries and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee the AWOL process, including issuing letters and follow-up communications
  • Support administration tasks during investigations, grievances, and disciplinary meetings
  • Collate bonus information on a monthly basis and ensure accurate data entry
  • Advise on low-risk disciplinary and grievance matters and produce relevant correspondence
  • Ensure HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Co-ordinator and Senior HR Manager on ad-hoc projects
  • Build relationships with all teams and departments to provide exceptional support and contribute to business goals
