Deep Learning Scientist

The University of Oxford's Department of Computer Science is seeking a Computer Vision Specialist to work on the Morphocam project. This project involves developing machine learning/AI tools for precise metrics measurements on camera trap images of wild animals.
In this role, you will research, adapt, and exploit existing deep learning models and frameworks to build an efficient processing pipeline. You will need extensive experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch/TensorFlow) and ML-ops for scaling systems into production.
- You will work closely with field biologists to understand their needs and problems.
- Research experience in computer vision and deep learning or similar is required.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,585 - £54,395 p.a. and a dynamic working environment.
